The 2008 recession leaves Sameer Chaudhary and his wife Nargis unemployed and desperate for a fresh start. After months of struggle, they secure jobs in the Middle Eastern country of Noman. However, when a delay in Sameer’s paperwork forces him to stay behind, Nargis travels ahead alone—only to be abducted upon arrival. Her desperate plea for help over the phone leaves Sameer devastated but determined. Fueled by rage and love, he travels to Noman and joins forces with a resourceful local taxi driver to rescue Nargis before time runs out.
