This is the story of Captain Balram Singh Mehta from India’s 45 Cavalry Regiment, who, alongside his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Named after the Russian amphibious tank "PT-76," which floats on water like a tin of ghee, the film follows Mehta's journey of coming-of-age as he rises to prove his worth in the war to liberate Bangladesh.
